"Hi"

"Hi"
This is a word that most people do not give much thought to....a simple greeting to a friend, neighbor, or co-worker. However, when this word comes from the lips of my daughter who is non-verbal it is monumental!!
Charlie went into Brooklyn's room last night to check on her and he received a "HI" He said it was so loud and so clear that he turned around and thought I had come in the room. (Nope - I was not even home yet) this is also pretty big news because this is the first time she has said a word that she did not say before regression. "Hi" was not one of the words she spoke before she lost her words.
WOW....God has given me one AMAZING blessing today! Charlie has not stopped smiling :)
