Ouchie!

I got so caught up with the new tricycle that I completely forgot to post pictures of Brooklyn's busted lip. Thursday morning Brooklyn rocked herself right over in her rocking chair - sending the rocking chair on top of her. It scared me to death! (It was one of those slow motion moments where you can't move fast enough)It swelled up fast but she was great about letting me put ice on it so the swelling had gone down quite a bit when it was time to go to preschool. We asked her if she wanted to stay home and her eyes were glued on the "no" card. We checked before we walked out the door again asking her if she wanted to go to preschool and her eyes went straight to her "yes" card. She LOVES preschool and was not about to let a busted lip keep her home! She has not wanted to get back in her rocking chair yet, but I don't blame her!

This one shows the swelling pretty well.

Before she left for preschool......

ouchy...Caitlyn has done the same thing...In a full size rocking chair. I keep telling myself, "well, atleast she knows how to rock it!" Talk about a purposeful movement of her body!

I wanted to say that the same thing happened to Sarah. She was in her rocking chair watching a music video on TV and the next thing I know she has rocked too far forward and her face was ON the TV screen. We pulled her back and she had chipped one of her front teeth. Not surprising as her teeth stick out fruther than her lips :)
