I want to thank ALL of you for your comments, emails, and phone messages last night and today. I am feeling much better this evening (even though I had a nightmare trip to the neurologist where we waited for 1 hour and 25 minutes to see the neurologist for 5 min - but that is for another post!) This post is focusing on the positive!
I know that throughout our life with Rett there will always be good days and bad days and I am just thankful that the good ones WAY outnumber the bad and I am so thankful for friends and family that help get me through the bad ones!
By the way, I had to post this cute picture of Brooklyn - yes, that is oreo you see around her mouth! There is something I just LOVE about this photo - I think it is those bright, expressive eyes - do those say "I love you mommy" or what!?

Know that you all are loved tons and prayed for often by many! Love the picture. Brooklyn definitely shows so much love in her eyes!!
Kelly, I can never said I understand, because I can only imagine but truthfully, you have one of the most loving and supporting families I have ever seen. Don't ever forget that you are Brooklyn's mom for a reason - and the reason is everything about who YOU are. The love you and your family give her is unmatched and she is thriving because of that and all that you do for her. She is such a beautiful (and very lucky!) little girl!! Don't feel bad for being down from time to time - you wouldn't be human if you weren't. ((((HUGS))))
You sure do love your Mommy! Kel, you and Charlie are very special people and you have one very special girl. Brook, we love you all very much!
Her smile warms my heart!!
Brooke, I can't wait to see you at music class tonight!!
Thank you for visiting my new blog. Let’s keep exchanging. I love how mothers can reach inside each others hearts — and funny bones. Kelly, I am affiliated with MDA. Next month I am adding a new page to the Dishing with Debbie website dedicated to bringing awareness to various organizations committed to children with special needs. I absolutely love your site. It would be my joy to help you bring awareness to Rett Syndrome. Blessings to all — DEBBIE
