Brooklyn's class has been saving their pennies for TODAY! They took all of their change into the bank and then used that money to buy goodies to take to our local animal shelter for the animals for Christmas - Brooklyn was PUMPED for today. (Although Grammy went too - which MIGHT have been part of the excitement - she LOVES her Grammy!)
Brooklyn chose a brush for the animals - this from a princess that LOVES to have her hair done - I am NOT surprised!
I only had one rule for her - DO NOT bring home a puppy!
I think she was looking for a loop hole in my rule - she was loving this kitten!
I am sure our 75 pound lab would love her too!
I know.....it WOULD be hard to say no to this face!
She had a BLAST and the animals got spoiled today - it was a win/win!
(I have to admit - one of her favorite parts seems to have been riding the bus! Poor girl gets dropped off and picked up every day - we deprive her of this JOY on a regular basis...oops)

I am so glad to find a fellow Rett mom with a positive and realistic blog. Your daughter is beautiful, but I am sure you already know that. Our daughter is 8 years old. I am going to follow your blog and see what adventurer you go on next.
