We were in Chicago yesterday for Brooklyn's 6 month appointment for the Rett Syndrome Natural History Study. The visit went really well. Brooklyn weighed in at 25 pounds and was 35 inches there. Dr. Motil (her nutritionist) was happy with the way Brooklyn looked and she is "on the charts" at the 5%! She actually used the words "fairly robust" to describe Brooklyn! Our goal is to gain 3 pounds in the next six months (so 1/2 a month, I think we can do it!)
It is always good to see her specialists and to have a positive appointment! Plus it was great to see a couple of other Indiana families that we have not seen for awhile. Unfortunately, I did not take a single picture (I know...shame on me!!) I promise to take some pictures of Brooklyn today so you can all get your "fix!'

Wow!! That's good to hear. Keep up the good work.
Glad things went well. Dr. Motil likes for our girls to be "robust." LOL! I think our last goal was 10 lbs. in six months. Our appointments are the middle of December, so we will see how we've done.
Wow we could of met. We were on the waiting list but Marie didn't call till 2 days before. Way too late to make arrangements!!!!!!!!!!
