"My friend Brooklyn"

I had one of those special mommy moments today.....you see every day each child in the class has their mommy or daddy write in their journal about something they did that evening and the next morning each child gets to "share" with the rest of the class. Today in Brooklyn's backpack was this...... It is a copy of another little girl's journal. Her journal entry to share said "Drawing of her friend Brooklyn."
I know I just posted about me crying when Brooklyn said "MaMa" and now this....happy tears over the beautiful feelings of Brooklyn's friend drawing a picture for her in her journal. It made my day!!

I know this feeling! I am still recovering from the mom that told me her daughter (in Caitlyn's general ed class) loves getting to sit by Caitlyn! I love that she is being appriciated by the other kids in there!

Kelly~Oh how wonderful that the teacher knew to share this with you! Isn't it the best when we see the friendships our daughter's can form? Lauren is going to a different class for center time and she has friends in that class. When I bring her to school in the AM they all wave and say "hi Lauren!" I LOVE it! And yes, that makes my day too!
