Today Brooklyn worked hard at her kneeling position. Most of what we do for physical therapy involves strengthening her muscles. I am sure to most of you this seems like a fairly easy task. For our girls, it is hard work! She does it though, my little trooper. You can see she is not as relaxed in this picture. She will often "tense up" and when she does, her hands come back in close to her body and she "clenches" her hands.
Tummy time is probably the most hated two words around our house. Lucky for Brooklyn she does not spend too much time on the floor like this but it is important to put her on her arms (sort of in the army crawl positions) from time to time again, to work on strengthening different muscles.

Grammy worked your little "tushy" off today, little Beanie. But, you did so good! You are my little trooper!

I love that look in the last picture! You are so gonna get it Mom! Have you tried tummy time on the therapy ball?

I love that last look too....there is a lots going on in that little brain in there. Kelly always hated tummy time. We used the therapy ball a lot and always with a cartoon on so she wouldn't be thinking about how we were making her put her body so much.
