NEW Stander!!!

(I know I said I was not going to post for a couple days but I HAD TOO, plus we have not left for Cincy yet!!)
Words can not describe how overwhelmed we are by the gift of this new stander for Brooklyn. Overwhelmed for many reasons, mainly by the people who bought it for us. Racheal and Tyler Benner (and their son Ashland.) They are a young couple that go to church with us. They both also work at Tri-State University with me. Turns out they have been secretly working with my mom and Brooklyn's PT to get this for almost a month now. UPS delivered it last night and I was SHOCKED!
I called my mom and she told me to look under the mail basket in my kitchen and there was a card from Tyler and Racheal (and Ashland too.)
This is touching to me because they are a young couple working and going to college and supporting their son and they have such HUGE hearts that THEY did something this amazing for us.
The words printed on the card said "When it seems as if the Journey will never end......that's the time to turn around and look at how far you've already come."
Yes, it is pretty amazing to see how far we have come this past year and it is because God has placed AMAZING people like the Benner's in our life. Thank you guys, like I said on the phone - I really even do not have words of thanks big enough!
I thought I would put the HUGE stander we have on loan beside the new, smaller, compact, much cooler stander so you can see the difference! (and it is PINK!)
We did manage to get it "standing" last night but it does look like we might not be able to actually put Brooklyn in it until her PT comes next week and can help us get all the adjustments made to it. There will FOR SURE be pictures of Brooklyn playing in it sometime in the very near future!
Again, Tyler and Racheal - you two are pretty amazing people! Thank you!

I am so glad Tyler and Racheal were able to surprise you with the stander. It wasn't easy keeping "THE SECRET". Even Nan, the PT, was in on it! Brooklyn, you are going to love it! It is so "GIRLY"......pink and everything. More importantly, it is not huge (Shannon, take note lol). Brookie Beanie, now I can pull you up to the counter and you can help me make cookies and candy or with whatever we decide to get in to! I can definitely say you will be watching some Wiggles' movies in the stander. Tyler and Racheal, you guys are awesome! I loved "sneaking around and plotting" with you! We were all so touched by your generosity!

Wow! We can't believe the size difference! We just wanted to let you know, Kelly and Charlie, how much we look up to you as parents. You are amazing parents. Brooklyn is such a lucky little girl! Can't wait to see the pics of Brooklyn!

Thanks to your mom and the PT for all of the help!It wouldn't have been possible without their help!

Brooklyn, send back the old 'dinosaur',as Grammy called it, and enjoy helping out in the kitchen and watching The Wiggles in your new stander Beautiful Angel.

That is amazing!! Just wanted to comment on Grammy's post about making cookies. Did you know you can get A/C interupters for a switch so that our girls can operate the blender? So cool! A friend of ours sews doll clothes with her Rett daughter. Mom feeds the material, and daughter pushes the power switch. what a team! Have fun in your new stander, Brooklyn.

Amazing! I wish for continued gifts for you Brookie and your mom and dad. Words can't describe the feelings you must have, but by reading your post I can tell. Thinking about you always and I continue to pray for a cure! I wish I could have participated in the April Fool's Day event, but with student teaching, I wasn't able too. You are in my heart and prayers and I look forward to all the new pictures of you in your new stander. I hope you know what wonderful people you are surrounded by and how amazing you truly are. We love you Brooklyn!

That is super cool! I got tears in my eyes reading this post. Thank you so much Racheal and Tyler if you are reading this. Words can't explain how much this kind gesture meant to the Bulter family, I'm sure! Brooklyn, you have fun in the stander and when you help Grammy make those cookies, make sure you eat some of the yummy cookie dough! We love you and it is so awesome to hear about all the people caring and praying for you!
