Thanks Mom!!

I just wanted to say a quick (but HUGE) thanks to my mom who watched Brooklyn last night so Charlie and I could have a "double date" with Josh and Kristin. It was so nice! We went to dinner and then to sonic for ice cream - it doesn't get much better than that!

It was nice to have a night out after our bummer news we got yesterday - Brooklyn got bumped from the Chicago schedule in April. We were supposed to see Dr. Glaze and Dr Motil in Chicago - for her six month follow up from our trip out to the Rett Clinic in Houston. Their scheduled were changed and now only have time to meet with the girls that are already "established" in the program. All of the new girls got cut. I understand but it is still upsetting. I am planning on calling out to Houston today. It is my understanding that she has to be seen ever six months in order to be part of the Natural History of Rare Disease Study that we are part of. So, it might mean an unexpected trip to Houston? Who knows.....I will let you all know more when I find out.

THANKS again mom - you are the BEST!

Kelly, you don't have to thank me....I love every minute! But I don't think she liked Grammy drying her off after her bath! (Or maybe she wasn't ready to get out of the tub!)

Kelly, that stinks about getting bumped. I wondered how that worked with the study. Dr. Percy's nurse didnt say how often we would have to be seen.

I said it before and I will say it again, Grammy sounds like an awesome woman! You guys are very lucky to have her! Avery's Gigi is the same way, she spends more time at my house than at her own!

Oh bummer on the bumping!! We were looking forward to seeing you there (actually we still don't have a confirmed appointment so we may very well be bumped too). I think they may give you a pass for this appointment. I know they had mentioned to us that even though they want to see everyone every six months if one is missed it's not the end of the world.

Brooke, thanks for letting your mom & dad come out with Josh & me last night! I am sure you and Grammy had a ball!
