Two angels in the same small town!

Last night I had a long chat with another Rett mom.......HERE IN ANGOLA!!!
It is kind of ironic that it takes hours, days, or even months to find people (and even doctors) that are familiar with Rett Syndrome and suddenly I am on the phone talking with a mom that lives 15 minutes from me! AMAZING! (At this time in my life a tremendous blessing!)

Bridget is mom to Taylor who is 11 (diagnosed at 5.) It was so nice to be talking with someone who knows EXACTLY what I am feeling/experiencing. Don't get me wrong - I would be COMPLETELY lost without my great friends (thanks Shannon for your constant "long distance" support!) and AWESOME family but there is something about talking to another mom. It was like she had this secret window to my inner thoughts and knew just what I needed to hear. I have a feeling that was the first of many long talks. (Thank you Bridget!!!)

We plan on getting the girls together soon. They actually are going to stop and say hi to Charlie today(they bank with Wells Fargo!)

Sometimes God blesses us exactly when we need it most. Yesterday was mine.
